The FREECOVER project proudly aligns with the latest communication from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) team regarding the importance of translating scientific evidence into policy impact.
As a Horizon Europe-funded initiative working on sustainable recovery of Rare Earth Elements (REEs), FREECOVER acknowledges the critical role of informing European, national, regional, and local policymakers about our research outcomes and their relevance to green innovation, resource security, and circular economy strategies.
The MSCA Starter Kit for EU-funded R&I Projects offers practical tools to help projects like FREECOVER frame evidence-based messages for policymakers. This complements FREECOVER’s Work Package 5 (Communication & Dissemination), led by SITES, which is already actively engaging stakeholders through strategic media, events, and open-access resources.
As coordinator, the University of Udine has shared this guidance with all partners to maximize the project’s societal and regulatory impact.
