FREECOVER at Trieste Next
On 27 September 2025, FREECOVER was showcased at Trieste Next Science Week, during the European Researchers’ Night. Representing the project, Dr Leonardo Piccinetti and Donatella Santoro from Sustainable Innovation Technology Services Ltd (SITES) joined a University of Trieste podcast interview, sharing FREECOVER’s vision for a sustainable future.
Dr. Piccinetti highlighted FREECOVER’s mission to deliver innovative and eco-friendly methods for Rare Earth Element (REE) recovery, ensuring Europe’s resilience in critical raw materials while reducing environmental impact.
By participating in Trieste Next, FREECOVER continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, circular economy practices, and public engagement, reaching new audiences and inspiring collaboration across borders.
