FREECOVER Seminar at UAB

Highlights Advanced Analytical Chemistry Approaches

The seminar, titled “Molecularly Imprinted Polymers in Analytical Chemistry”, took place on February 18, 2026, at the Faculty of Sciences, UAB, and was organized within the department’s academic seminar series for PhD students

During the session, Dr. Luaces presented advanced research on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) and their applications in selective detection and separation processes, highlighting their relevance in analytical chemistry and sustainable material design.

This seminar forms part of hookup
the FREECOVER secondment programme, which promotes international knowledge exchange and strengthens collaboration between European and international partners. By engaging with students and researchers at UAB, the activity contributed to capacity building, scientific dissemination, and the exchange of innovative methodologies.

FREECOVER continues to support training and knowledge transfer through seminars, workshops, and mobility activities aligned with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges programme.
