From PhD to Research Manager
The FREECOVER project is pleased to announce its first Masterclass & Seminar, which will take place on 26 September 2025 at the University of Udine (UNIUD).
Prof. Andrea Melchior (UNIUD, FREECOVER Coordinator) will open the event, followed by a Masterclass delivered by Dr. Leonardo Piccinetti (SITES) on “From PhD to Research Manager: Grant Writing, Leadership & Project Management.”
This interactive training is designed for PhD students and early-stage researchers. Participants will explore how to transform academic skills into careers in research management, with practical guidance on:
- Grant writing & proposal design
- Project management & risk strategies
- Leadership & communication for impact
Delivered under MSCA Staff Exchanges – Horizon Europe, this Masterclass represents a key milestone in FREECOVER’s training activities, empowering the next generation of research leaders.
