Prof. Marilena Tolazzi Honored for Excellence in Chemistry & Engineering

We’re proud to announce that Prof.ssa Marilena Tolazzi of Università degli Studi di Udine, partner in the FREECOVER project, has been awarded by the Associazione Italiana di Chimica per l’Ingegneria for her outstanding contributions to chemistry and engineering.

Prof. Tolazzi’s work aligns with FREECOVER’s core mission: developing green chemical technologies such as ionic liquids and sorbent materials for sustainable Rare Earth Element (REE) recovery. Her recognition reflects the high scientific standards maintained within our consortium.
